PPL Private Instructor Development

Private Instructor Development for current instructor's of the PPL group. The objective is to teach the instructor's new ways to identify shooter issues, better ways to get through to the students as well as the most efficient way to get the students on target quickly. We will use a coach/mentor approach where the instructors coach each other under the supervision of  highly experienced instructors. There will be lecture blocks mixed in throughout the day.

This will be a full and intense day of development. You will be shooting and assessing each other while also making yourself a better shooter.

**The course fees do NOT include ammo, you must purchase ammo on your own ahead of time or you can purchase through us. (Limited Supplies, Please contact us in advance if you need us to provide ammunition)

Our Mission

IDS focuses on teaching intuitive defensive handgun skills that lend themselves to efficiently handling a firearm in ways that are congruent with the body’s natural reactions under stress. This methodology allows us to better prepare our students for situations where drawing a firearm is a possibility.
